Windows 10: I am trying to type "1" but my keyboard doesn't type it - already changed keyboard and...

Hello! I was using a new cable keyboard and it wasn't typing the number "1" from the "1/!" button. It types the exclamation point but not the number 1. I changed keyboard to a wireless one now, thinking it would be an hardware problem, but this issue is still happening. I am using Windows 11.What might it be? It just starting not typing radomly, it was working fine on both keyboards before.Thank you for help!

Sorry for the delay in replying. I would suggest you to try the Onscreen keyboard and check if it helps.

Please have a look at this article and check if it helps. Even though the article is for Windows 8.1, the option to enable the onscreen keyboard is the same.

Use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) to type

After you are able to log in, I would suggest you to change the log in option or you may follow the steps provided by Neha Gupta to update the drivers and check if it helps.
