I have an Orbit MS7120 barcode scanner that I can't get to run on my Windows 11. It keeps saying there is no serial port installed. I can't figure out which type of port to add in legacy hardware. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!

Software to use with usb barcode reader


I'm thinking of buying a ubs barcode reader to make a proper listing of my MUSIC cd collection. I was wondering what info the barcode reader would give me and what software I would need to input the info the barcode reader gives me? Thanks in advance.

Quick question;

If I buy a barcode reader / scanner, and I swiped a barcode (For example the barcode off the box of a CPU), would it read the information on it OR would it need to be hooked up to some sort of database with the product information?
