Windows 10: I am trying to use an ethernet cord and am receiving a unidentified network No internet message

I am trying to use an ethernet cord and am receiving a "Unidentified network : No internet" message What is going one, why is my computer not working with the ethernet card. The cord works, the computer is getting a signal from the wall. I updated, uninstalled, reinstalled the driver so that isn't the solution. Thank you for your help.

Unidentified Network - No Internet - Ethernet

When I plug my Ethernet cord into my PC it says Unidentified Network - No Internet. I have searched everywhere for a solution, but none will work. I've tried updating the driver, troubleshooting, reseting etc, etc.

I have used a wired connection before (at another house) and I had no problem and now it won't work at this one. However the same wired connection works on my laptop and even my xbox one, but not my desktop PC.

By the way I am running windows 10.

Domain network ethernet not working but wifi does?

Hi FreeBooter, I already came across this article and followed the steps with no results, I came across other articles that suggested the same steps but still nothing has worked? Thanks for the reply.
