Windows 10: I am unable to access 'settings' in Windows 11 s mode

Hi,being new to Windows 11 and having bought a cheap 'geo' laptop yesterday, I eventually clawed my wat through setup.However, I am unable to open the 'settings' app. All I get is a window opening briefly then it disappears.Does anyone have any suggestions which are not tooo technical please?ThanksSusan

Sound card amplification settings

Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

Method 2 = all updates have been installed

Method 3 = inetcpl.cpland cannot be found

I'm still unable to launch IE 11.

Any other methods to resolve the issue?
