I am unable to connect my Android phone to my Windows 11 PC. How do I fix this?

I use a Samsung Galaxy 8 that has been updated to the latest Android version.Whenever I connect it through USB to my PC, it starts charging, confirming it is indeed connected. However, there is no prompt on screen to start transferring my phone's files and no way to open it either. From all the advice I can find online, I'm supposed to look for and update the driver on Device Manager. However, my computer doesn't seem to have this. For some reason I can't upload my screenshot here, but under "Other Devices", I only see: IcService_New; SerialPort; and SMS/MMS.I have also followed the advice to

Unable to connect android phone to windows 11 Computer

Before upgrading to Windows 11, connecting android phones my Windows laptop will be detected. Based on the options I choose on the phone (file transfer, PTP, charge only), I can get the utility needed.

Now, the android device is not detected on my phone. Using Google's ADB CLI, I was unable to list my phone.

    • The phones does not allow USB tethering (the option was disabled).
    • The connection charges (I tried with both USB C to USB C and USB A to USB C to connect the phones.
    • Doesn't show up on edge://inspect
    • Using developer mode on Android, with USB debugging turned on does not change anything
    • There is no sound on my laptop when i connect the device
    • The device (android) is still charged by the computer
I have updated all the USB drivers, installed wpdmtp.inf, updated to the latest Windows 11 OS.

Cannot connect new Android phone with Windows Pc

Last night my new Android phone connected OK with my PC and I was able to send Text messages via WiFi. This morning the apps such as Your Phone and MiDrop are reporting that they are unable to connect, either way. The phone and PC are still linked but not connecting. I have tried the Troubleshooters. Everything seems to be set as it should be.

Listen to Android phone's music from desktop headphone

How to listen to [Android phone's music] from [a headphone that is connected to a Windows 10 desktop] without internet connection?
I have an Android phone (Pixel 3a) with YouTube Music installed on it.

When I don't have internet connection, I want to be able to wear my headphone, which is connected to my desktop (Windows 10) and listen to both my desktop's audio (for example, game sound) and the music playing on my phone (for example, music that is available only on the phone's YouTube Music offline downloaded folder).

    How can I achieve this?
