It is the only way to make the issue clear]I write songs and make sound recordings for my own use and so recently purchased a new PC HP Pavilion, Windows 11, largely for this purpose. Making the recordings requires: 1 software - a digital audio workstation DAW called Reaper, and 2 hardware - an interface to plug guitars and microphones into called Phenyx Pro. the Phenyx Pro sh

    VOLUME CONTROLS WITH WINDOWS 10, SCARLETT SOLO 3RD GEN INTERFACE, REAPER DAW

    I was wondering if anybody could help me with the problem I'm having with my volume using Windows 10 on my PC running through a Scarlett interface and using Reaper DAW, for some reason after I reset my PC (to get a fresh start) when I lay down my tracks in Reaper and i go to play back the track, the volume slider from my Windows 10 master volume is grayed out so the tracks play back at whatever volume I have set on my mackie studio monitors, it's aggravating because it was working and now I kind of adjust the overall volume coming out of my speakers as I'm playing back the track, I am using a wireless mouse and I have searched all over the internet and can't find the cause of this, I reinstalled all the drivers for the Scarlet Focusrite, I've reinstalled Reaper and I've also been through everything in Windows 10 trying to find the issue, any input or help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciate it, thanks

    Windows 11 upgrade to old (9yrs) HP pavilion G6 laptop.

    I have an old (9yrs) HP pavilion G6 laptop with an Intel core I5-3210M processor. This processor is not compatible with Win 11. Furthermore, I cannot see any of the G6 supported processors on the W11 compatibility list, so it looks like I cannot upgrade to Win 11. Is this going to be the position for all time, or will more processors be added to the Win 11 compatibility list, in future?
