Windows 10: I am unable to open camera in my laptop. It is showing an error 0xA00F4244<NoCameraAreAttached>

I tried uninstalling the camera driver in device manager. Now the camera driver is not coming up in device manager. I restarted the system many times.System Model HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx Windows 11

However, please let us know:

• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  

I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Type Get Help app in the search bar on the
   Taskbar and open app.
   
2. Type camera not working 0xA00f4244 in the Get help app and select
   Device Camera Troubleshooting.
   
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the process.
   

If you have an HP laptop, you may want to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned by Chao_L in the thread

Error code:0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> and see if that helps.

How to I solve error message "0xA00F4244<NoCameraAreAttached>"?

I have tried virtual assistant and other troubleshooting options but my camera would not work. I keep getting error message, "0xA00F4244<NoCameraAreAttached>" and your ebsite said to turn on the camera switch on the side of the Elite book. There is no
on/off switch on the computer. Help!!

 

Camera not opening - error code - 0xA00F4244

Hi,

My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 520S.

I am getting the error 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> error when I open the Camera App.

I tried many solution provided in the community / internet but nothing works.

In the device manager neither the Cameras or Imaging devices is showing up. When I tried to add the new hardware in the device manager, I am not getting the device listed both in Cameras and Imaging devices.

Kindly help to resolve the issue.
