Windows 10: I am unable to reinstall microsoft flight simulator x on my windows 10 desktop

I purchased a new Dell xps desktop. I had Microsoft Flight Simulator X on my old desktop. I uninstalled it on that unit, but when I try to reinstall it on the new desktop, I get a 1607 error and a 1603 error.
I tried loading it in compatibility mode, both XP and W7. Neither one worked.

It did go all the way through one time, then failed right at the end. Message said one program item failed to load properly, but did not indicate which one.

I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Also, visit the computer manufacturer’s website and install the drivers being found and check if it helps.
