  1. I am unable to reset windows after remote system wipe

I am trying to reset and reinstall windows on my PC after my company gave it to me and remotely wiped it. When I attempt to use the option "Troubleshoot" >"Reset this PC" > "Remove Everything" > "Cloud download" option I get the error message "There was a problem resetting your PC" after which I am returned to the "Choose an option" screen for repairing windows. I have tried all other options available to reinstall Windows but get error messages. I purchased a new product license for personal use. How can I reinstall windows on this computer so it works?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - Remote Desktop

    Hi,

We will surely assist you with the issue you are facing with Windows 10.
    - Which version of Windows 10 Operating System are you using?

    - Were you able to upgrade to Windows 10 successfully?

I suggest you to refer the below steps and see if this helps.

    • Enable remote desktop in settings
      • Control Panel\System and Security\System, Click "Remote Settings" on the left side

    • Verify my port forwarding settings were properly forwarding to my computers local IP address
      • run "cmd.exe" and then type "ipconfig". Find your IP from that list
    [*]
    • Make sure your firewall settings are open
    • Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps"
    • On the left, click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
    • Click "Change Settings"
    • Find "Remote Desktop" in the list and make sure both "Private" and "Public" is checked.

Let us know if this helps.

    Thank you.

  3. Remote Wipe Not Working

I would suggest that you remove the deviec from the MyPhone site. Removing the devie WILL NOT remove the data so you will be good to go when you get the new phone.

Absolutely ... if you remove the old device and set up a new one, the "numbers" it records for identification are different. That will not be an issue.

BTW, I would have done a manual hard reset if the phone was not lost. I am surprised that the remote wipe did not work. Reports from others indicated it worked well .... I have yet to try it but I may just have to to test it out.

I am unable to reset windows after remote system wipe

How to reset whole netsh? (Windows 7)

Was wondering has the commands changed somehow since on Windows XP and on Windows Vista 'NETSH INT RESET ALL' cleaned entire netsh up from top to bottom.

Now on Windows 7 this same command says no go and only way I can see it is by building .cmd/.bat which does something like:

Code: netsh winsock reset all netsh int 6to4 reset all netsh int ipv4 reset all netsh int ipv6 reset all netsh int httpstunnel reset all netsh int isatap reset all netsh int portproxy reset all netsh int tcp reset all netsh int teredo reset all[/quote] now the king of the hill of bugs is this doesn't actually do even it's job even after reboot. values setup to are not reset to defaults. (I know I could add more entire list of entries there is, but looking for clean delete/wipe settings & default everything not to dump entire list of resets.)

So, anyone got a plan B?
