Windows 10: i am unable to split laptop screen in multiple on windows 10. only split in 2 screen

laptop screen previously splitted in multiple , now it split only in 2. google window can not be split in two screen, which previously splited. can not move screen of splited window to up and down direction. My desktop does not show my previous icon which brought on desktop.

Issue facing -

1. unable to split screen in multiple

2. goggle two or more window can not be splited

3. splitted screen in two can not be goes up / down by reducing size

4. want previous desktop view with arranged icon/app on it for easy access

When I go to a split screen view in Windows 10, one of the screens will stop working and/or not respond. For example, if I have a video playing and split screens, the video will stop running but the sound will continue. Another example is that I will
try to use a newly opened screen in split view and the page will not respond. Any suggestions or help?

Here's what happened. I ran her computer at my house and couldn't get the screen to split. Then at her house w/ her monitor it split after 5 minutes. I then plugged my monitor in and the screen was still split at her house. I took her monitor and cpu to my house where I couldn't get the screen to split with either monitor. I am perplexed.
