Windows 10: I am unable to sync my email from AOL; how can I fix this issue

Using AOL site and AOL email

I use AOL for my internet connection. When I call up my AOL email list, I am required to perform two double clicks in order to retrieve any single email item. I contacted AOL and they suggested there must be a setting in windows 10 that I need to adjust
in order to be able to retrieve each email item. Please advise what I can do to be able to retrieve each email with only one double click. thank you

 

Can't get my AOL email account to sync with the Windows 10 email....

I have been trying for 3 days to sync my AOL email account with the Windows 10 email app. I am able to get my work email and gmail to sync and work fine, but for some reason I can't get my AOL to work. Please send me any suggestions. I have tried many
different avenues, but maybe you know something that I don't. I have also researched this issue online and it seems that a ton of people are having the same issue with AOL.

 

Syncing AOL email acct

Just upgraded to Windows 10. Initially my AOL email acct synced and I could access via the Mail Tile. However, it is no longer working. I deleted the acct and started over, but it is not working. Any assistance or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
