Windows 10: I am unable to uninstall KB5053656 OS Build 26100.3624 Preview

I decided after the fact it is best, especially with further research, NOT to install preview/optional updates. From many forums I have read this preview update is problematic. In my case, when I go to shut down the computer I get an error that flashes on the screen only for a few seconds, but it is something to the effect of "memory could not be written error, terminate program", or something to that affect. I finally found that this preview update is the exact culprit, and often related to a Xbox controller wireless USB device, and it was recommended to remove it. But, when I go to uninstal

Uninstall Insider Preview?

To uninstall a preview and rollback to the final version of the Windows 10 May 2019 Update, use these steps:

Open Settings.

Click on Update & Security.

Click on Recovery.

Under the "Go back to the previous version of Windows 10" section, click the Get started button.

Select any reason from the list.

Click the Next button.

Click the No, thanks button.

Click the Next button.

Click the Next button again.

Click the Go back to earlier build button.

After completing the steps, your device will revert to the stable version of Windows 10, and then, you can use the steps below to stop getting Insider builds.

 

Uninstall latest preview build

I see this strange link in Settings, Windows Update, Advanced, View your update history:

“Uninstall latest preview build”



I had never installed a “preview build”. I never was in Windows beta testing. Is Windows 10 still in beta? Is it safe to
“Uninstall latest preview build”?

 

Unable to install latest insider preview build

Hi,

Currently I am on 14986 build and unable to install the latest build and keep getting the pop-up message to install the latest build. As I am trying to update the build but it's keep failing and getting error. Is there any direct link to download and install
the latest insider preview build. Please give any suggestion to help me out.
