Windows 10: I AM USE A TABLE AND I HAVE INTERED A 'IF' STATEMENT BUT THE FORMULA STOPS SO FAR DOWN AND...

I AM WORKING ON A SPREADSHEET I WANT TO DATA FROM ONE SHEET TO A SECOND SHEET THE FIRST AS A DROP DOWN LIST WITH THE DATA AND THE SECOND SHEET AS A TABLE. I HAVE USE A IF STATEMENT,BUT THE FORMULA ONLY GOES SO FAR DOWN THE TABLE,THEN IT SHOWS A VALUE ERROR.WHAT AM I DOING WRONG PLEASE HELP

Word 365 Table Currency Formula Adding A Space After Dollar Sign

Hi.

I have been working in Word tables for years, but I have not seen this problem until now.
I sometimes use the Formula functionality located in the table Layout section in the Data group.

To tally up a list of prices, I use the =SUM(ABOVE) formula, then select the Dollar currency format.
It still works, but lately it has been inserting a space between the dollar sign and the price.

So, for example. Instead of putting it like $146.35, it inserts it like $ 146.35.
Does anyone know how to remove the space?

I have made up a quick table with some figures and the total to show you what it is doing.

 

average formula will not average

I can see three serious problems:

• The "IfError" function suppresses all errors in your formula. You must omit it while debugging the formula.
• You cannot use the "Search" function for a range of cells, only for strings.
• You are posting in the wrong forum (same as you did in January). For a formula as complex as this one you must go to a dedicated Excel forum. Remember to reveal the whole purpose of the formula when reposting instead of just casually throwing in the term

I WANT TO COPY A FORMULA IN A COLUMN TO THE "ANSWER" IN A SECOND COLUMN.

I SIMPLY WANT TO TRANSFER A FORMULA IN A LIST (COLUMN) TO ANOTHER COLUMN - BUT THE NEW COLUMN - WILL REFLECT THE RESULT OF THE FORMULA. IE
=+DATA!GA TRANSFER TO 132 (OR WHATEVER).

SIMPLY COPYING A LIST OF FORMULAS TO A LIST OF "ANSWERS".
