do I need a windows to run microsoft 365 on a chromebook

I've just bought a chromebook but cannot find how to add my microsoft 365 package. I am a complete novice, do I need to have a windows package to run the microsoft 365? Also, I have my documents and photos from my previous laptop on a memory stick. I cannot see how to transfer these to my new chromebook.

 

Office 365 on a Chromebook

I have Office 365 on a chromebook. My son used it to write a paper. Now the toolbar is down at the bottom. Annoying. (See the picture). How do I move it back to the top?

 

My wife’s new Chromebook froze up with recycled message stating to call bogus number. Tried.

This worked:

1. Sign out of your Chromebook.
   
2. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
   
3. Select Restart.
   
4. In the box that appears, select Powerwash
   
   Continue.
   
5. Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account.
   Note: The account you sign in with after you reset your Chromebook will be the owner account.
   
6. Once you've reset your Chromebook:
   
   • Follow the onscreen instructions to set up your Chromebook
     
   • Check if the problem is fixed
