The game in question is Sid Meier's Railroads. There is a way to run it in Win 10 or lower, but it crashes in Win 11. When support for Win 10 ends, will there be a way to run programs in Windows 11 using compatibility mode for Win 10?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

• What is the make and model number of your PC?
  
• How did you installed the game?
  
• What happens when you try to run the game?
  
• Do you use any non-Microsoft anti-virus software?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if the issuer persists:

New User Account

I would also suggest you to create a new user account with administrative rights and check if the issue persists. Creating a new user account will not remove any data, app or settings from your current user account, this is just a troubleshooting step to eliminate the possibility of user profile corruption.
