How to setup E71 for Wifi but NOT AT&T

I just received my unlocked E71. So far so good!

I am NOT paying AT&T for the data plan. Gotta save $ in this economy!

But I can access the web via WiFi hotspots.



How do I configure the E71 so that it never uses the AT&T internet access, but is limited to WiFi?

If I use the AT&T internet access, then I am charged per usage and that is expensive.



Alternatively, how do I know that it is using Wifi rather than the AT&T access?

e71 - default internet connection (WiFi vs T Mobile Interet)

My phone is connected to WIFI at home. When I browse the internet this is fine. When I try to download apps, the connection seems to look for T Mobile Internet and says Unable to browse. Why doesn't the phone pick up my WIFI as default internet connection?
How to setup so that WIFI is picked up as the default internet connection. Pls help.

 

No More Internet Via WiFi on T-Mobile Wing.

So I have owned the T-Mobile wing since summer '07 and everything was working fine (including WiFi internet access). About a month ago, I had my wing replaced because the speaker blew out on the old one. On the new handset I cannot connect to the internet
via WiFi any longer. It notices the same wifi access points that i normally connect to, but won't actually connect to them for internet use. Any ideas?
