Windows 10: I am writing this without having logged on. Windows 11

Hi!I am having a weird issue/situation right now. I turned on my PC with Windows 11 Version 10.0.22621.1848 a few minutes ago. It only showed a black screen, no login form.Usually, when I want to wake up an idle monitor, I press the shift key a few times, so I tried, just in case. This time the "shift lock" dialog showed. So I pressed ctrl+alt+del. For a split second I could see "Preparing security options", then I saw the typical options menu where I selected Task Manager. The Task Manager opened and from there I could start a new process. I opened up Firefox as if I was logged in. The expl

How To Format A Write Protected Flash Memory ?

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

How come these steps were not done when posted?

For Ccleaner:
a) un-check memory dumps
b) un-check Windows log files

For system failure > write debugging information
a) change to automatic memory dump

When you complete the above steps > post images into the thread displaying the changes.
When available please post the images of the Memtest86+ version 5.01 test for 8 or more passes.

On post #3 report the progress with each step.

Post a zip after all of the above changes and if there are any new BSOD:

Only write one number to log file and delete old ones?

Hey,

I'm trying to have some software read from a .text file a number (GPU Temp) but the software will only the first number in a list (Or the first anything)

Is there a way to have to log file delete the previous entries and write the new number in it's place without any headers?

I have some webcam software that can read a number (or whatever) from a text file and then it displays the number as an overlay.

I was trying to use GPU-z to do this but as it logs as a list the webcam software can't update properly (also it reads the headings of the file and displays them instead)

Is there anyway to alter the logging to only output just the number (GPU Temp) and to delete the old numbers so the new value is the only value in the file.
