Windows 10: I believe my laptop screen is stuck in tablet mode

My HP envy x360 screen looks like it is in tablet mode with the icons enlarged and the top borders of apps are also enlarged like it would be if it was in tablet mode. Another reason why I believe it is in tablet mode is because the keyboard symbol that only shows when it is in tablet mode is on the taskbar. I am still able to use my keyboard but now to screen will not rotate and the rotate lock is off. It always switched back and forth perfectly fine but now it is not. I could get used to the visual stuck like the enlarged icons but it not rotating is a problem because I do rotate my laptop a

Posting this in case it helps others:

After doing this, my computer switched back into laptop mode after several minutes while using it. Later, I plugged it into my TV via HDMI, converted my laptop into a tablet, and after unplugging it was stuck in tablet mode again. I tried several things you have listed before, and what seems to kick my computer back into laptop mode is deleting the driver for my screen, restarting my computer, and letting it sit for several minutes.

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

Windows 10 Tablet Mode on a Non-Touch Screen Laptop

What is the point of having the tablet mode on my non-touch screen laptop? Are there extra features in tablet mode that are not in the regular windows mode? My laptop is not a convertible laptop either. I have a HP 15 Energy Star I believe.
