Windows 10: I believe there is some issue with my Microsoft account causing various issues with...

This is a long one to bare with me. I experienced a blue screen crash which was only fixed after Windows attempted to repair it a few times. Once repaired, I went to play Minecraft but once in the launcher I was given a message stating there was an error detecting the products I've purchased. The was the first time I've had such error with Minecraft. I resorted to doing a factory reset of my computer after failing to find a fix yet now I found new problems. I went to download the Xbox app and Minecraft through the Microsoft Store and no applications were able to be downloaded. They all just sa

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

 

Changing local account to Microsoft account issue

We don't have a specific cause why the issue occur. The error message you provided is a little broad and we can't narrow down the reason behind this issue. To help you, let me suggest that you create a new account with your Microsoft account in it. Please
follow the steps below on how to create a new account:

• Press Windows key and search for Settings.
• Select Accounts
• Under Your emails and accounts, click Add a Microsoft account
• Follow the on-screen instructions

After making a new Microsoft account, you can copy all the files on your previous user. Please follow steps below:

• Press Windows key and search for File Explorer.
• Select This PC.
• Click Local Disk.
• Select Users then click your previous account.
• Press Ctrl + A.
• Locate your new account.
• Press Ctrl + A again then press Ctrl + V.

Microsoft Store Issue

I have tried both of these steps already and still, when I click "Sign in with a Microsoft Account instead," nothing happens, I believe this can be seen in the video I posted. Thanks for the suggestions, though.
