I bought a new laptop and upgraded immediately earlier this year. I'd say it was in the month of February, the online payment process went through but I am still waiting for installation of my windows11 Pro upgrade. I am sorry to say that I don't know coding very well and I just can't be sure if I have installed this program. Another thing is I haven't received any kind of package in the mail just in case procedure for this order is postal. My new laptop only sometimes reminds me that it's Microsoft version is Windows 11 Pro. and has totally forgotten since that day that it's 64memory not 32

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Here's what you do. First, just put the drive in the new laptop. If it boots great, if it doesn't move on to step two.

2. Put it back in the old machine. Uninstall all the drivers you can. Put back in new laptop, try to boot.

3 Sysprep will likely not work for you.

4. Is the windows 7 a retail copy or an OEM? Because if it's OEM the license will not likely transfer over to the new machine anyway. If you have both a retail windows 7 and retail upgrade, then yes you can format the drive and install W7 then upgrade again.
