Windows 10: I bought a used Acer laptop. It has somebody else's info. How do I wipe it clean and start...

I bought a older used Acer laptop. I cannot get passed sign in page. I need to wipe it back to factory reset and I don't know how. Help please

Step 1: buy about a half gallon of gasoline.

Step 2: douse laptop in gasoline.

Step 3: toss a burning match onto laptop.

Step 4: watch the fire clense your laptop.

 

Acer Laptops :are they crap ?

Acer makes a cheap prodcut period. They user lower end plastics, as well as assembly. (I hate working on Acer laptops)

If budget is an issue then get an acer... though for $50 more you could get a gateway that will smoke the acer in terms of quality.

For a laptop though i would suggest one of the DV7T's from HP or a Business class Toshiba/HP/IBM (not the lenovo branded, the Thinkpads)

Also, I just wiped and did a clean install of windows yesterday, and I have never seen birthday listed at the login screen until today. I have also checked and have no contacts on my account, so where is windows getting this info?
