I bought a used pos terminal for my pixel point POS .The ones we have are running on windows 7. the one I bought is the same as the ones we have but it says the windows is not authentic. what do I need to do to get it to wo?rk

AOMEI Partition Wizard What a POS !!!!

Hi folks

I can´t say this enough but this (AOMEI) is about the worst POS I've ever seen for so called sensible software which does absolutely NOTHING it says on the tin

It lists as one of its features that it can extend a Windows partition without requiring a re-boot -- actually there's no option to even force a reboot like the old Partition Manager did (re-booted in DOS mode to finish the job).

I think the claims for this POS have more lies in it than the old Soviet cover ups in that excellent TV series Chernobyl which was on recently -- Brilliant - but another issue though.

I solved the problem by simply booting up a live Linux distro and using the free GPARTED software which supports NTFS and did the job perfectly.

However for those not wanting to use a Linux live distro then Minitool partition wizard will also do the job without a windows re-boot - even using GPT Disks --however if you download this do uncheck any extra "special offers" or software.

Windows ME POS problem

Hi.

I have a POS running Windows Millennium Edition.

It has every single update up to 2006 already applied to it, if you wanted to know.

Everyone can check out, and everyone except Adam can check in.

I use my own POS software.

When Adam tries to check in, it gives a Blue Screen of Death starting about two years ago.

My POS software was last updated in 2008, and I rechecked the code and noticed that there was no bug with Adam checking in.

However, can you please tell me how to fix this?

-OS: Windows ME

-POS software: My own

-Software name: MilleniumPOS

-Login name: POSSyst
