Windows 10: i bought and laptop form a school and i cannot get rid of its administrator function.

Deleting school administrators

My sister bought her school laptop off the school after graduating and the school is still administrators is there a way to remove them so she can use it freely. It’s also saying she needs to activate windows before personalising her pc but she can’t active without being connected to the school network

If that laptop contained a volume licence linked to the school, your sister may not be able to activate Windows, she will need to purchase a Windows licence.

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

slmgr.vbs /dlv

Open the Settings app, then go to Accounts - Your Info.

On that page, is your sisters personal Microsoft account listed or is it a school account?

On that settings page, is there an option to switch to a local account or an option to stop automatically signing into apps with the account?

On the left, select Emails and Accounts, is there is the school Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is there is the school Email listed there?

 

bought a school laptop, microsoft store error, etc

so i bought this school laptop from m school as they sold it to me, I got the built in admin account password, and my own account is administrator, however some hings wont open, for one settings crashes as soon as it is open, microsoft windows displays the error, try that again Code: 0x80131500, i figure that has something to do within the computer, however im admin so im sure i can disable whatever is making it do that, however i dont know what is making it do that.
