    I can delete all I want, but adding anything to Volume E will result in complete lockdowns.


    When I install something, i will experience long periods of 100% spin and 0b data transfers. It does eventually clear, but it will return at random timesmoving the laptop around doesn't initiate it. I finally got frustrated with the fact that I couldn't install ANYTHING in Volume E, so I completely wiped the drive. The problem persists. I have uninstalled the drive and reinstalled itnot physically because it's a laptop. The problem persists. I have run malwarebytes scan, optimized both drives, and removed any applications that jump between the drives. The problem persists.Epicgames will r

    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    1. After opening the game, right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "open volume mixer".

    2. If the particular game is listed, turn down the volume and check the result.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond I can delete all I want, but adding anything to Volume E will result in complete lockdowns. :) Best regards.

    • What is the type of the volume?

    You may check the type of the volume in disk management by following the below steps:

    • Press Windows + R.
    • Type "diskmgmt.msc" and press Enter.
