    I can not activate my newly bought windows 10 pro with Product Key


    I have bought a Windows 10 pro oem and a fresh new PC. I have done the following things...

    1. I install windows it was offline and at the time of installation, I insert my Product Key.

    2. I go to online and get some update. In the middle of downloading updates power interrupts and the pc turns off.

    3. I again start on my pc and try to install printer from DVD Drive. I also add modem and download some software.

    4. I open a Microsoft account.

    5. Now I go to activate my windows.


    The result is...


    1. I have not been able to activate my pc.

    2. My Product Key ends with 2B. But here shows a product key that ends with 6P.

    3. I tries many times to change the Product Key but have no been able to.


    I am newbie so I don't know what happened and what is the solution.

    Should I buy Windows 10 Home or Pro?

    I bought a win 10 pro oem key for £25, changed my motherboard and cpu, and reinstalled windows, and it activated automatically. So I would say why not buy pro?

    Was near enough instant delivery of key by email, and it activated on my original install, and on a clean install with changed hardware. Can't say fairer than that for £25

    This online store looks cheap. You don't want to know how much OEM keys or other software prices are in my country. lol

    I can not activate my newly bought windows 10 pro with Product Key

    Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

    This worked for me last time with a Win 8 key.

    Install Windows 8.1 and enter KMS key during setup. Once in windows change product key to my Windows 8 key. Go to add features and enter my WMC add-on key. Drink a beer to a job well done.
