Hi.I have upgraded my OS from XP to windows 10. After the upgrade I can not logon to my laptop it show message "the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted".I do not have any error code.I have not connected to a domain NetworkThanks in advanceAlejandro

after I restart computer and logon again, I can not logon to my laptop it show message "the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted" I use windows 10 my laptop Acer , I try to F2 for open bios. I can not do.

please help me to return to logon to windows on my laptop.

Hey William, thanks for the quick reply.

Can you specify what you mean by, "In either case, in order to logon as the local administrator when the computer is a member of a domain, you need to enter it in the format of .\administrator.

The .\ informs the computer to use a local account." ?

I apologize again for my technical vocabulary.

*p.s. if you intended for me to enter .\administrator into the username and password blanks, I did that and the same message came up, "The specified domain either does not exist or could not
be contacted."

Before I restart windows, I uninstalled Teamviewer 10 and run Registy Clean. After that I restart windows. when the screen show to logon, I key my password and enter it show

"

window 10 can not logon the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted"

I used my laptop standalone. I tried to reboot and press F2 and F12 but the windows system can not change to boot by another drivers. please help me to fixed it.
