Windows 10: I Can not resize the icons on the desktop by pinching on touchpad in windows 11 and cant...

I recently Bought a new hp laptop and its my first time using windows 11. The issue I faced was I wasnt able to zoom in or out in chrome using my touchpad nor I could resize my desktop icons by pinching on my touchpad. Is there any way to solve this?

Solution: inadvertent resizing of text and icons using touchpad on older laptops after upgrading to Windows 10

My upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 went smoothly except for one persistent annoyance. When highlighting text or desktop icons with my touchpad, it frequently resizes the page arbitrarily. This is actually the "pinch-zoom" feature which has been optimized
for touch screen devices. If, like me, you find this feature problematic on an older laptop, here is the solution.

• Click the Windows Icon in the lower left->Settings->Devices->Mouse & touchpad.
  
• Under Related Settings, click 'Additional mouse options'
• Click 'Settings'
• You should now see a menu for your specific touchpad device. Scroll through the settings and look for "Pinch Zoom" and disable it. For Synaptics ClickPad you will find "Pinch Zoom" listed under 'Scrolling.' After clicking Pinch Zoom, uncheck the box 'Enable
  Pinch Zoom'

 

Windows 10 desktop Icon resizing?

I found out how to resize desktop icons, see below ,

To change the desktop icons take the steps below:

· Right click on an empty area of the desktop

· Select ‘View’



From here we will have three options:

· Large Icons

· Medium Icons

· Classic Icons



When you select the options listed above the icons will change based on the size selected.

 

Windows 10 desktop Icon resizing?

I just discovered in Win10 that you can use a 'pinch' motion (like you use on your phone) on the trackpad to resize the desktop icons.
