    Lock vs Login screen screenshot

    Hi Josey -

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!

    Windows 11 censoring whole screenshot?

    Hi Just a Juice Box,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the quality of Windows 11 screenshots. Please be rest assured that I am here to assist you in resolving this issue. I understand that the screenshots you uploaded have distorted colors. There are a number of reasons for this issue, such as incorrect display settings, outdated drivers, or graphics card issues.

To fix this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:

    1. Reinstall the graphics card driver: Visit the hardware manufacturer's website, download the latest version of the graphics card driver and install it.

    2. Perform a System File Check to scan your system for corrupted or missing files.

    • Find CMD in the Start menu, search for “Command Prompt,” and select “Run as administrator.”
    • Enter the following commands one at a time, making sure to run the next command after the previous one is complete.

    • Once the scan is complete, you can check the scan information to see if any issues have been detected and resolved.

    3. Clean boot: The color distortion problem you mentioned is most likely related to the interference of third-party programs, please try clean boot. These "clean boot" steps may seem complicated at first glance. However, to avoid trouble, go through them one by one, step by step, which will help you get back on track.

    • Press Win + R, type msconfig and press Enter.
    • In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.
    • Check "Hide all Microsoft services" and click "Disable all".
    • Go to the Startup tab, then click Open Task Manager.
    • Disable all startup items, then close Task Manager and click OK in the System Configuration window.
    • Restart your computer.

If the above steps do not resolve the problem, please provide more detailed information such as the make and model of your computer, the graphics card you are using, and the version of Windows 11 you are running.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to resolve this issue.

    Best regards,
