Windows 10: I can only connect to Google websites

I cant connect to anything besides Google websites. I have followed many steps online such as, flushing DNS, manually changing the DNS server, resetting the router, resetting network settings, renewing IP configurations, resetting TCP/IP, and turning off IPv6.


On the Ethernet status tab, IPv4 Connectivity either says “No network access”, or “No internet access”, while IPv6 connectivity says “Internet. Diagnosing the issue usually gives me the result of ““Ethernet”” doesn’t have a valid IP configuration”.

Trying to connect to orher sites gives me this:

”www.amazon.com’s server IP adress could not be found.

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”


The other computer in the house has no issues being wired to the router, and we tried switching the ethernet cords, and the one im using does not yield the same issues on the other PC.


looking around the ethernet status details, i noticed that “Connection-Specific DNS Suffix” has no value, “IPv4 Default Gateway” has no value, and “IPv4 WINS Server” had no value.

I cannot connect only Google related website such as google.com & youtube.com

Chrome browser can connect Google.

Edge & IE cannot connect Google.

• Make sure you’ve got the right web address: Google
• Refresh the page
• Search for what you want

IE

This page can’t be displayed

• Make sure the web address Google is correct.
• Look for the page with your search engine.
• Refresh the page in a few minutes.

• Check that all network cables are plugged in.
• Verify that airplane mode is turned off.
• Make sure your wireless switch is turned on.
• See if you can connect to mobile broadband.
• Restart your router.

Can not access Google websites on Windows 10

• Which browser is affected? Have you tried using other browser?
  
• Were there any changes made prior to this issue?

We suggest that you update the network adapter driver. See steps on this

Only Chrome can connect to the Internet.

To resolve the particular error messages that you're having, we suggest you perform the steps below to disable proxy server:

• Click the Tools button in Internet Explorer, then click Internet Options.
• Go to the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.
• Uncheck the box which says Use a Proxy Server for your LAN, then click
  OK.
