Windows 10: I can only play minecraft bedrock when i bought both java and bedrock

Hi. I recently bought Minecraft java and bedrock off of the Microsoft store, however when i came to play java edition on the minecraft it said that i have to buy it. But the bedrock version was all good to go and dowloaded. I was extremely confused as to what had happened and look online but i havent been able to find a solution. If there is anything that can be done it would be much appreciated as i am very dissapointed.

Hello i bought minecraft java a while ago and ever since then i used to be able to play minecraft bedrock but today when i logged on it told me i needed to buy a bundle and only allowed me to play the trail

I bought Minecraft java before bedrock was bundled with java do I have to buy the whole set again or can i get bedrock for free? I have seen other people say if you bought java before that you can get bedrock free but I do not know if its true and if it is how do I do it?

 

Playing Minecraft Bedrock and Java at the same time on two computers

Hello,

I bought Minecraft Java some time ago and after migration, I got Minecraft Bedrock for free.

So my question is:

Can I play Minecraft Java on one computer and Minecraft Bedrock on another computer at the same time, when they are both on one Microsoft account?

And can I play multiplayer on both, or only on one at the same time or is it even allowed?
