Windows 10: i can only sign in past the login screen

I have another Microsoft account that I use for things like logging into my computer and Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch, but for some reason it accepts the password while logging into the computer, but whenever I try to use it for anything else with the same account, and same password, it tells me that the password is incorrect. I have never had this issue before, and it only happened to that account.

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!

You can use your own image of any background and just go to settings/personalize/lock screen and click on browse as in the image below. It should make whatever picture you use as the Lock Screen

 

How to make Windows 10 login Screen display users that are signed in

1. Press the Windows logo key + R simultaneously to open the Run box. Type cmd and press Enter.
2. When the Command Prompt window opens, type query user and press Enter. It will list all users that are currently logged on your computer.
