Windows 10: I can only use 7GB of total 64GB of my USB

Hi. I've recently bought an USB 64GB Sandisk via an online marketplace. However, when I plug the USB in my computer and try copying files to the USB, it turns out a lot of my files are corrupted and gone for no reason. After several failed process, I found out that the USB actually can handle 7GB amount of storage but the USB should be able to store 58GB of files and folders. I wonder if there is a way to resolve the problem, as I don't know whether the USB is damaged in terms of hardware or software.

Error code 10 PNY USB 64GB

As the subject describes, my PNY USB 64GB is not working. At the Dev Manager I see the message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful.

I've tried all the listed things such as changes within the registry and updates etc, but nothing seems to work. If I try to update it, I either get the message listed above or that the drivers are up to date, however, when I use the troubleshooter for Hardware
and Devices it says that the USB device has a driver problem, but when I click to fix it, it doesn't.

Finally, it has also been suggested everywhere that one could change the letter and/or make changes at the Disk Management section, however, the USB doesn't show up in this section, only at the Dev Manager with a !

I'm wondering if anyone knows a solution besides the ones that have been listed so far.

Problem with a 64gb USB Verbatim flash stick

Cleaned the WinToUsb drive (G) with DiskPart as suggested and now it just says USB Drive (G).
I cannot seem to be able to format it with either NTFS or FAT(Default) ?

I think what you said about creating a partition is probably what I didn't completely understand....and may have bypassed that step ?

I think I need you to guide me through that step.

 

Is it OK to install and run Windows 10 in a 64GB USB stick?

I have planned to buy a SSD but the USB sticks and SSDs are both made of flash memory. Why can't I install Windows 10 in a Sandisk 64GB USB stick and start using it for daily tasks? including playing games.!

Please suggest.
