    I can open only 60-70 Windows Explorer windows before the "is non responding" blocking message


    This is so frustrating and anti-productivity when on such a modern OS you can only open 60-70 windows of Windows Explorer before the so annoying message "is not responding". I tried fixing that by increasing my virtual memory, upgrading to 32 GB of RAM, and from i3 12100 to i7 13700k with no improvement whatsoever.I didn't have such a frustrating experience on Windows XP, 7, and 10 just on 11 when I had way more weaker PCs. What is causing that!? Thanks in advance for any useful piece of advice.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
