    I cannot access any of my links saved under Favorite on Microsoft Edge on Windows 10


    Hi

    I cannot access any of my links saved on Favorite on Microsoft Edge. Each time I click on any of them I am redirected to my start page. I even clear my data, restarted my lap top but no luck up to now. Any help?

    Hello,

    Let us further isolate your concern by answering the following questions:

    • Can you clarify what you meant by reinstalling favorites in Microsoft Edge?
    • What are the steps you have done to resolve this?
    You can import favorites you've saved from a different web browser to Microsoft Edge. You might want to consider importing these and check if the same thing happens. Click this

    Saving links in Microsoft Edge

    When I save a "favorite" in Edge it will not allow me to copy and paste that link to somewhere else. I am forced to open that site in IE 11, save it as a favorite which I can then copy and paste. I keep a lot of links in separate folders outside of Windows
    applications.

    Any suggestions? thanks

    How to save Url's Favourites in Microsoft Edge?

    Hi Robert,

    It is unusual that you are unable to add a URL to your favorites. Do you receive any error message when you try to add a link as a favorite?


    I suggest you to try the steps below on how to save a link as favorite and see if you continue to face the issue


    1. Open Microsoft Edge browser.

    2. Open any website which you want add in favorite list.

    3. Click on Star or Favorite symbol in the top left on the browser.

    4. You will 2 boxes, one with Name other is Create in.

    5. You will also see two buttons, one is Add and other one is Cancel.

    6. Click on Add button, and now you are successfully added a website in favorite list.
