Windows 10: I cannot access microsoft/windows store

i did a format on my pc because it wouldn't open and i lost access to Microsoft store to the photo program and the video program and i''m using a windows 7 program that works fine .I see my taskbar has the Microsoft store and if i search it on my search box it does appear and i cant open it. i tried troubleshooting it i talk to some experts and i tried to reinstall it through power shell admin but i got an error while doing that. In apps and features settings there's no Microsoft store and i even checked about the Microsoft files but said i didn't have access to them. I don't know what to do

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Method 1: I would suggest you to run App troubleshooter.

• Type ‘Troubleshooting’ in the search next to start.
• Click on ‘View All’ on left side and select Windows store Apps’.

• Right click on start and select ‘RUN’.
• In the Run window, type WSReset.exe and click “Ok”.
