Windows 10: I cannot activate windows 11 in my pc after updating motherboard and processor.

I cannot activate windows 11 in my pc after updating motherboard and processor. I have tried using the method in the Microsoft instructions by I keep getting tole I cannot do this but need to buy a licensed copy.

Windows 11 not accepting my Athalon 3000G processor which is an approved cpu

I upgraded my motherboard, CPU and memory to meet the requirements based on Windows 11 approved list yet windows 10, PC Health Check and installing manually per Microsoft supports suggestions doesn't recognize my AMD Athlon 3000G processor as an approved CPU. Has Microsoft provided a fix for this yet? Any suggestions?

cant activate windows after upgrading motherboard, processor and RAM

i recently upgraded my motherboard, RAM and processor.

after logging in and updating my drivers my windows started saying "activate windows"

after going to the activation page and logging in.

the activation wizard fails and then says contact support.

i was on windows 10 before the hardware changes, i upgraded to windows 11 couple days after the changes

Your 6 year old, 6th generation processor won't be so-called "compatible." Although it does support all of the hardware security requirements for Windows 11.

I'd follow Dave's advice on how to install Windows 11 on "incompatible PCs", which in your case, will probably work out fine. The PC meets the rigid security requirements. But I would not waste time contacting the PC manufacturer. The PC OEM (a) has no interest at all in delaying your purchase of a new PC, and much more importantly (b) can only respond, at best, that you would need a whole new motherboard.

Search online for upgrades to your specific CPU.

The table shows you what upgrades are likely to succeed. There are no easy swaps available, for 6th gen Intel Core processors, to make the PC Windows 11 compatible. A new motherboard would be necessary. And yet, as is, your PC should be fine with Windows 11.
