Windows 10: I cannot browse for networks while creating a shortcut

I can no longer see networks while trying to create a shortcut on my desktop. It worked until about three hours ago.I only see these two folders and no shared network devices.File Explorer does show networks and previously created shortcuts still work.I have two Win 11 and one Win 10 doing the same thing.Any ideas?

Create Ethernet adapter shortcut on the desktop.

To create the Ethernet shortcut on your desktop, you can follow the step provided below.



Step: Create Ethernet shortcut on the desktop.

1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together.
   
2. Type in ncpa.cpl
   and hit enter.
   
3. You will see all your network adapter.
   
4. Right click on your desired adapter and click on
   Create Shortcut and allow the prompt.
   
5. Or you can drag and drop the network adapter on the desktop that will create a shortcut too.
   
6. You can now right on the shortcut on your desktop and disable and enable internet connection.

It could be that the shortcuts that you are trying to make are being saved in a different location. For us to effectively assist you in creating shortcuts, kindly provide us the information below:

• Kindly describe what you mean by "browse" window.
• Are you trying to create a shortcut for a browser or are you trying to create a shortcut in File Explorer window?
• Do describe to us how do you create your desired shortcuts. We would appreciate it if you can attach a screenshot of the activity that you're trying to achieve. That could include the programs that you would like to create a shortcut and where are you trying
  to place those shortcuts.
