Windows 10: I cannot change my pin on my laptop microsoft accounts.

I cannot change my pin on my laptop microsoft accounts. When I look at password pin Windows Hello in the account security settings no options comes up and it only states that "this option is currently unavailable". If I try the option anyway I get two options forgot pin/ or SORRY this pin isnt working for your organisation resource. If I try to go for either of these items Microsoft asks me to reenter my email but fails to recognise it and tells me I need to be an organisation. I am not an organisation and never have been, My old pin works still but I need to change this for security and c

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.

• How are you trying to change the password?
• Have you logged in to your account and trying to set the PIN?

I would suggest you to switch to child account and then try to set a 4 digit PIN from here and check if it works.

I am using the Microsoft account page under family members. In this section where it shows my Grand Daughters Account details there is no option to have a Pin Code, However on my page, as Administrator, I can create a Pin.
