I cannot copy, move or delete a zip file in Windows 11

The prior post on this, https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/zip-files-in-windows-11/e9da9732-3285-46ee-8ba6-8e1c32680f86suggests it is a fault with Carbonite. However, I do not have Carbonite. Any left- or right-click on a zip file just shuts down explorer and leaves me at the desktop. Not attempt to delete, move, or copy the zip file gives the same crash. I am able to unzip the file in NCH Express Zip, but then am stuck with the original zip file.

    :)

remove a file in a zip file

That looks quite different on my Windows 10, and I installed it half an hour ago, so it is pretty clean.

In the left pane I can only see the folders INSIDE the Zip file,

but even those do not have a delete option. No icon to delete. Only options: Expand (gray), Open, Explore (bold), Copy, Poperties, Extract All..

But that is on folders INSIDE the Zip file, the files are only listed in the right pane, and there is no delete option.

I don't want to delete a folder in a Zip file, I want to delete a file in a Zip file

    I guess you're using Windows 11
