Windows 10: I cannot find an app that loaded when I turned on my Windows 11 computer

I would like to find the Holiday AI card generator that came up when I turned on my Windows 11 computer. I have tried looking in settings under personalization but I do not see a list of recently added apps. Thank you.

geforce experience takes an age to load..

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

 

How to make Windows 11 load all startup apps even on Lock Screen?

In Windows 11, the behavior of startup apps has changed slightly from previous versions. By default, Windows 11 defers the startup apps to load after you sign in, which might be the reason why you're noticing this delay in app loading after entering your PIN.

If you want to revert to the behavior where startup apps load in the background while you're on the Lock Screen, you can try the following steps:

Using Task Manager:

• Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
  
• Click on the "More details" option at the bottom of the Task Manager window to expand it.
  
• Go to the "Startup" tab.
  
• Locate the apps that you want to load in the background.
  
• Right-click on each app and select "Enable" if it's currently disabled.
  

Keep in mind that changing these settings might affect the overall startup time of your computer, as loading all startup apps in the background can consume system resources during the login process. It's a trade-off between faster login and having your apps ready to use immediately after you unlock your system.
