Windows 10: I cannot find my Bitlocker key on my Microsoft account for a new laptop

I have bought a new Lenovo laptop and set everything up. When I login to my Microsoft account, the Lenovo laptop shows up as one of my devices, but it does not give me a Bitlocker key. My other 2 devices are also on my account and the Bitlocker keys for them are showing, but not my Lenovo. I was not provided with a hardcopy of this when I purchased the device. I would like to access this to record down just in case I need it.

BitLocker key disappeared in my new Microsoft Account

When I received my new Lenovo laptop, I created a new Microsoft account (let's call this account "A"). Surprisingly, I was able to find a BitLocker key in my Microsoft account, even though I was using Windows 11 Home edition.

Later on, I performed a clean format and reinstalled Windows and also, I changed my laptop's name. I signed in again with the same Microsoft account (A), but this time, I noticed that there were two BitLocker keys in my account. The first key corresponded to the laptop's name before the format, and the second key was associated with the new laptop name I gave it after the format.

Subsequently, I updated my BIOS and performed another clean Windows installation. However, this time I decided to use a different Microsoft account (let's call it "B"). Strangely, after logging in with my B account, I couldn't find any BitLocker recovery keys anywhere ("You don't have any BitLocker recovery keys uploaded to your Microsoft account").

I tried to login again in the previous account A and I found the old keys but nothing in my new account.

This situation is puzzling. Initially, I wonder why I had BitLocker keys stored in my A account even though I had Windows 11 Home, not Pro. Furthermore, if I had BitLocker keys in my A account, why don't I have them in my B account now? I'm concerned about what to do if my laptop ever prompts me for the BitLocker key. I am using the B account do if I had to put the BitLocker key, I don't know what to do because when I am trying to find my BitLocker key in my B account I get ("You don't have any BitLocker recovery keys uploaded to your Microsoft account").

Also, I think that my device doesn't use BitLocker because I can't find anything in my setting about that.

Bitlocker key can not be found in the microsoft account

After a regular update of Windows my Notebook asked me for the Bitlocker Key although I never activated this. The device is listed in my account but in the list of keys it's not.

Simply doing a reset is definitely not an option, the data is needed.

Every single suggestion for how to find the key is absolutely useless so far.

 

How to find BitLocker recovery key for broken laptop

After my old Windows laptop died I bought a new one. After registering the new computer, on Microsoft account I can see both, the old and new device but only BitLocker recovery key of the new device is listed - the one I'm connecting from. I need the BitLocker recovery key of the old laptop to unlock it's hard drive and copy the data to the new one. Is it possible to get the key on my Microsoft account without being able to login from the old device?
