Windows 10: I cannot find my bitlocker recovery key

Discus and support I cannot find my bitlocker recovery key in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I cannot find the bitlocker recovery key for my laptop.     I cannot find my bitlocker recovery key


    I cannot find the bitlocker recovery key for my laptop. I tried going to my Microsoft account but it says there are no Bitlocker recovery keys associated with my account. As my Mom bought the laptop, I tried checking her account but there were no Bitlocker keys either. I checked with Best Buy as that's where I bought it from, but they can't seem to help me. Where else might it be? I had no clue Bitlocker even existed until it locked me out of my computer, and I have owned my laptop for two years now - nobody mentioned that Bitlocker was on the laptop when I bought it and set it up, so I had no
