Windows 10: I cannot find the option that allows me to flip my camera.

While trying to access my camera, I am unable to locate the function on the camera, that allows me to switch between front and back. I have tried resetting the the camera and still I am unable to switch between the two cameras.

camera not working

If you have the camera connected to the computer, I would suggest that you disconnect the camera and then try to open the Camera app.



If the camera app opens, follow the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + C” from your keyboard to open “Charms bar”.
• Select “Settings” option.
• Select “Permissions” option.
• Turn on “Allow this app to access your: Webcam and Microphone” option.
• Lose the app by pressing “Alt key + F4” from your keyboard.
• Reopen the Camera app.
• Connect your camera and then check how this app works.

Camera on surface tablet

Hi,

You may flip the camera on your Surface by going in to the camera app settings. Kindly refer to the steps below:

• Open the Camera App on your Surface.
• Swipe down from the top of the camera window (this brings up the Camera Options, as seen below.)
• Tap Change Camera.
  
• Take picture as usual.
• Tap Change Camera again if you would like the camera to facing you.
