Windows 10: I cannot get signed into Flipboard

I signed up for Flipboard and got the confirmation to my inbox. I clicked on the Open Flipboard and when I put in my userid and password, it did not like it. I then went to Forgot Userid and Password and put in my e-mail address (the same one that it sent the confirmation to) and it tells me "Invalid request". SO I went back to Flipboard and tried to create my account again but it now tells me that there is an account out there with my email address.

How do I get into Flipboard without wasting anther email address?

*Sad Never mind. I starting entering my usual passwords and it took one so I guess I used the wrong password. That still does not explain the Invalid Request when I was trying to recover my userid and password. *Sad

Also, is there a way to delete a thread before it has been responded to?

SPORTS APP - Not getting Notifications on Windows 10

I have other apps set for notifications, but seems like the only notifications i get are from Flipboard app or from Mail app (emails). I dont seem to get notifications from the other apps. I have Money app and News app set for notifications and i dont
get any notifications for those either.

Money and News app are not pinned to the start tiles. Sports app is pinned to start tiles. Flipboard is pinned to start tiles so i still get updates for Flipboard.

So Money,News and Sports apps - no notifications.

Flipboard and Mail app - lots of notifications.

I will try the things you suggested. Thanks.

UPDATE: Ok, i did the apps downloads and updates - check for updates.. at the Windows store and it spun for a while and then the box was green again from gray and i dont see that much happened. I guess there were no updates to be made.

 

Live Tiles Not Working For Sky News & Flipboard

Same problem with Flipboard.

I use it on several computers, users. Flipboard live tile has never worked. I suppose the problem comes from the app. Waiting for an update, but as usual (cynic) apps are only updated once a year in Windows and Windows Phone ecosystem...
