    I cannot get video to transfer from my Sony DVR using Firewire to Thunderbolt 3 port


    The Device manager sees the Sony DVR and says it is working OK. I hear the PC ding noise when it connects. I have all the proper Apple dongles and cables to convert from 4 wire on port on DVR to Thunderbolt 3 port on Laptop. All the BIOS settings are set to ON for TB3 and security is set to off for TB3 in BIOS. Yet I cannot get any of three different software programs to work. WinDV shows it is transferring, but the counter does not move, nothing is downloading. Many others have used this program with no issues using Windows 11. What am I missing to get this to work through TB3 port? What othe
