    I cannot install any games on the Xbox app with gamepass. Error "something unexpected happened"


    The game Like a Dragon : Ishin was working fine for me yesterday, but the next day attempting to open the game the app told me the file path for the "gamelaunchhelper.exe" didnt exist on my C: drive in the WindowsApps folder. I then uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall it, which it wont let me do. I was able to access the WindowsApps folder by giving myself ownership user. after uninstalling which led to nothing. I initially had it installed on an external hard drive, because its the only place i have space. I tried installing other game pass games, and now none of them work regardles

    Gamepass PC games not installing

    Having an issue installing games on GamePass PC, when I try to install the download gets to 99% then it wont complete and just says error, error code it gives is 0x803fb107. I've tried reinstalling gaming services app, reinstalling the Xbox app and even tried using commands in powershell but nothing is working.

    Hopefully someone can help, Thanks

    Is it possible to play gamepass games WITHOUT the Xbox app on PC?

    Hi! I recently had a really bad issue with Xbox App that being I simply can't run the app, it won't run.

    I wanted to try out some of the games on the gamepass but as I said the Xbox app won't start up.

    My question is simple that being am I able to download and play the gamepass games without using the Xbox app?

    For reference I'm on a PC running Windows 11

    Gamepass games on PC not working

    I have a valid gamepass ultimate subscription and recently tried to play gamepass games on PC. I downloaded the app and installed Crosscode and The Messenger. When I try to launch the games through the Xbox PC app, the app minimizes and nothing happens.
    When I try to launch the games through the start menu, it just directs me to the Windows Store to download the Xbox App, which shows that I've already downloaded it. Games I have previously downloaded from before the Xbox App came out, such as Forza Horizon
    4, seem to work ok. What can I do to get the newer games working?

    Something unexpected happened: I dont know what is the unexpected happened in your end but I want you to fix it immediately together with this error code in my store 0x80240013. Microsoft always have issue in their app and I dont know why. Even updating Windows is not worth to try because it does not help....
