Windows 10: I cannot install IBM AMOS on my PC

Windows 11 I have successfully downloaded AMOS 30 from Hearne Software. After two attempts with different tech support personnel, they concluded it was a Microsoft problem, not an AMOS/SPSS issue. When attempting to load AMOS, I receive the standard "Do you want to allow this app..." prompt Yes/No. After clicking "Yes," the standard AMOS 30 logo pops up and the Install Shield begins, but after attempting to install, it stops, and I get the following in a Windows Installer window see below. Once I click OK, nothing happens, and there is no indication that AMOS has been installed anywhere in

400GB IBM SSD (98Y4042) on standard desktop PC

I have one 400GB IBM/STEC SSD (fru 98Y4042) that I can not gain access to from my windows pc.

My SAS controller can (from BIOS) "see" the disk but is unable to perform a low level format on it.

The controller is the one found on an ASUS P6T Deluxe v1 motherboard.

The disk is from a decommissioned IBM DS8000 system - I do not need the data that is currently stored on the SSD (if any).

What are my options? Is is possible to use this SSD as a regular consumer SSD in my desktop PC??

I do not have much experience in stuff like this, so I would probably need a step by step guide.

I have a dual boot system (win7 pro / win10 pro).!

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
