This account is linked to my old minecraft account in which I own a lot of progression on a certain server. Recently, I tried to login into said Microsoft account, and was met with the error: This account does not exist. When I also tried to create a new account with that same email, it said that it was already taken. I have the email and password but it is Microsoft that is prevent me from logging in.

Creating more than one local user account

This issue might occur, if the on which you have currently logged in is not administrator account.

To assist you better, please provide few details.

  The account on which you are currently logged in. is this standard account or administrator account?

  Are you trying to create a Microsoft account or local account?

  How exactly you are trying to create a new account?
  

As per your query, I suggest you enable the build in administrator account, change the exiting account as administrator and then try creating a new user account.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Enable Build in administration account.

1) Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.

2) Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open Command Prompt.

3) Type the following command and hit Enter:

net user administrator /active: yes (Check for the spaces)

4) Now log off from the current user.

Step 2: Log in to your computer, through Build in Administrator account.

1) Press Windows + r and type netplwiz, press Enter.

2) Select your existing user account.

3) Click on Properties button.

4) Click on Group Membership tab and check on
Administrator.

Step 3: Log out from Build in Administrator account, login to your existing user and then try creating a new user account.

account email created that does not exist

I created an account email as administrator years ago when I bought my computer. This e address no longer exists. I have 2 alias and use one as my primary account. However, when I go into accounts, it still lists me as administrator with the old email.
I am unable to delete it. Tried many times. Each day I get a message telling me to update my email account and it says password my be cause. I have no idea what that password was and how could I change it when I get error message with email does not exist.

Hello!

I can't log in to my microsoft account, although it's the same account I use for PC sign in, microsoft store and my minecraft account. But suddenly for no reason when I try to log in to my account it says that this account doesn't exist. I've never had issues like this with signing in to my account which apparently doesn't exist anymore.

I really hope that there's been a misunderstanding or if someone has gotten into my account and done something bad maybe it could be recovered.

Error message when I try to log in to my account: (We couldn't find an account with that username. Try another, or get a new Microsoft account.)
