Windows 10: i cannot login to my windows account with password

i am trying to enable safe mode on windows 10. every time i go thru settings for trouble shooting to enable safe mode it asks me for my password. i enter it and it says it is wrong. i know that is the correct password because i can log into the account on my phone or other computer. i do not know what the problem is or how to disable this to be able to use safe mode. please help with detail. thanks

Local Account password changed to Online Account Password

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.

forgot password for account!!!!

You need to boot into Safe Mode. Do this by mashing F8 when the computer is starting, right before Windows loads, until you see a bunch of options. Select "Safe Mode". It'll boot into Safe Mode, and bring you to the login screen. At the login screen, go in as "Administrator", and from there go to the control panel. In the control panel, open "users", select the account you forgot the password of, and click "remove password". Restart the computer and all will be well *Smile .
