Windows 10: i cannot move my mouse while typing how do i fix this?

i have a HP spectre pro 13 01 and i have tried different things to turn off touchguard or whatever this is called and have found no solution please help!!

Mouse lag

Wandering mouse

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to adjust the mouse speed and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

• Type mouse on the search bar and select Mouse and touchpad settings.
• Select Additional Mouse Settings.
• Select Pointer Options and adjust the mouse speed under Motion.

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Hardware and Devices.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

6. Check if issue persists.

mouse not working

Hi,

I would suggest you try the below windows built in troubleshooting which will automatically fix the issue.

Step 1:

Go to search bar next to windows icon and type command prompt.

Step 2:

Now right click on the Command Prompt shown on the search list and select Run as Administrator.

Step 3:

In command prompt window type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press Enter to open Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Step 4:

Click Next to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. It will automatically detect problems with your computer hardware and devices. You can decide to fix the problems or not by yourself.

Step 5:

Now verify the issue mouse is fixed or not.
